I tried soooooo many different things to try and fix this after the recent TF2 update and nothing worked until:

I installed an updated version of tf2itemsinfo.smx provided today by the amazing ReFlexPoison on this thread: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=182918 .

My Uber Upgrades server is now back up and running. Hopefully you will have the same luck with the fix provided by ReFlexPoison.

craaaaap. So I decide to start digging into the source and find that not all of the required files are distributed in the 'full' zip.
tf2attributes_ubup.sp is not present as stated, so it needs to be created from all the individual files in the uu folder, but there are two missing files in there: uu_defineweaponlists.txt and uu_defineweaponliststabs.txt.

anyone have these?

I searched and don't seem to have, nor am I using uu_defineweaponlists.txt or uu_defineweaponliststabs.txt . I edited and compiled my own version just fine without those two files, so I doubt they are needed or used. Where did you find a reference to those files?

they are both referenced in the compile scripts included in the zip file with the sources. both in the sp_compile_upub.bat and sp_compile_upub.sh. If I compile the plugin like this it doesn't end up working correctly, pulling up the menu ingame, it appears and then goes away as soon as you type a number.

What version compiler you using? I have "SourcePawn Compiler 1.6.0"

{edit} I think I found that I needed to replace the tf2itemsinfo.smx with the patched version _again_ after compiling. The checksum didn't match any longer, not sure how it changed, but after putting in the version with memory leak patches it seems to be working again.

Get the updated tfitemsinfo from here:

Set the cvar so it won't update.

Then, this plug should be functional. I know a few of us have it running on our servers.
