Suppress strange weapon chat messages

I had previously asked for this to be included in the "Tidy Chat" plugin but the dev hasn't responded yet.

What I am after is a plugin to suppress the chat messages that announce to the whole server when ever someones strange weapon reaches the next rank. In other words, a plugin that hides the "<player's> Strange Minigun has reached a new rank" messages in chat.

I'm not looking to disable the pop up that is displayed to the player who owns the weapon when they reach the next rank, just chat messages that get displayed to everyone else.

Sorry for taking a couple days getting back to you, compiled and tested it against Sourcemod 1.8.0.5974, and it worked perfectly!

Now we just need the plugin dev to incorporate it into the main thread!

EDIT: Unfortunatly I have to take that back, it did not work. Turned out people simply weren't reaching new ranks while I was watching the chat window.

The one i posted blocks TF_HUD_Event_KillEater_Leveled_Chat, which is the one that gets printed to everyone.

I didn't block TF_HUD_Event_KillEater_Leveled which prints to just yourself.

If you want both blocked i can update it.

Yes I'm sure. Tried it with it set to both "1" and "0", and in both cases I still see when other players weapons get upgraded.

Try this, ...if that doesn't work then try tidychat2.sp (rename back to tidychat.sp so you don't have 2 running)

If both don't work then i have no clue.
