Hey guys. So this, being the error in the thread title, started happening to me and my friends recently. This is a client issue and crashes the client. before anyone says anything, I can guarantee you that our computers can safely run TF2 on the best graphics offered. I am led to believe that the cause of this problem lies with the server. None of us have ever experienced this problem before and it only happens on my server. There doesn't seem to be one singular event in-game that causes this error to happen. I believe that it might be caused by a memory leak or something similar that something in the TF2 server is causing, however, my TS3 server is not affected.

I have these plugins installed:
Code:

Make sure all your sounds are being downloaded successfully (if you're using fast dl double check that they're all set up).

1) Close tf2
2) go to tf/sound/
3) delete sound.cache
4) start tf2 and see if you no longer crash

This makes a whole lot of sense actually because I'm getting that MP3 decoder error in my console constantly and the custom PropHunt sounds never play and I'm using FastDL as well. I'll try this as soon as I can. Thanks for this.

EDIT: Totally fixed the issue. Thank you so much!
