Is there any way to shorten the download times of models and sounds?

I have so many models on my server that I'm afraid anyone who wants to play will be scared off by the download times.

Any help would be much appreciated

Only using sv_downloadurl or have like a map pack they can download from your website if they ever visit it.. Only your only two options.. Not sure if you use sv_downloadurl to download the files from a web server. Since you didn't state you were using it or not

I don't use sv_downloadurl. What does it do and how do you do it?

Do you ever try to search for an answer? People have discussed sv_downloadurl way too many times, there's even a stickied post that says don't ask.

Basically its a copy of your server that is webhosted and only used for download.

I did try searching, but couldn't find anything relevant. Thanks Vittu, I'm going to try that right now. Do you know of any good webspace to host my custom files on?

I did Google it, but I found crappy sites. Can anyone tell me what you use personally and not give me a HUGE list of sites like Sasuke did?
