You may want to try setting the player's health to 0 as well as their lifestate to either dead or dying, through the use of SendProp offsets. Then, execute FakeClientCommand(entity, "kill");

none of those are necessary nor do they actually kill the player.

You do have reports of ATAC crashing on Linux, you know...

The problem happening here is very strange, though, and I remember having a crash problem through the use of IServerPluginHelpers::ClientCommand with "kill".

Possible, but slay works, what seems to be the case (I'm thinking) is that it's actually allowing the end HP to go below 0, or some aspects are operating too fast and preventing the code from running properly. besides my update in atac should fix the *nix crash.

I agree that it works... sometimes. I also agree that it appears like the ragdoll physics are caught off-guard by the sudden death of a player and bail when trying to figure out how to drop the ragdoll to the ground, hence the crash on GetDeathPoseActivity().
