I have 3 partitions on my 500g internal. Window$, Ubuntu Hardy, and a third ext3 as a data drive that I can access with both OS's.

I'm bored, so here's a program that closes anything with Microsoft in the titlebar written in Autohotkey:

Code:
SetTitleMatchMode, Regex
#Persistent

Loop {
	IfWinActive, [Mm][Ii][Cc][Rr][Oo][Ss][Oo][Ff][Tt]
	WinClose
	Sleep, 10
}
EDIT: It's supposed to be capital "t" followed by a lowercase "t" but for some reason it won't let me display it that way. [Tt] Hmmm that's strange.

Pleasured if you censor a letter or paste in some icon in the word.)
I wrote this.

so I tried my own way again with install 2 anti-virus & 3 anti-spyware programs.
Ad-aware was the one which solved this.
A malware was hidden in /Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5
Back to/on C++.

Careful with Ad-aware, in my experience it has added a few malware programs when I scanned with it.
Heres what I did, to prove ad aware has a malicious backside
Clean computer, fresh install.
Installed Adaware
Installed Micro$oft Defender
Scanned with Micro$oft defender (nothing found)
Scanned with Adaware (nothing found)
Scanned with Micro$oft defender (malware found)
Scanned with Micro$oft defender again (nothing found)
Scanned with adaware (nothing found)
Scanned with Micro$oft defender (same malware found)

Fresh install, fully updated at the time with all SP's.

Edit: censoring Micro-soft for Bend3r

What I find hard to believe is anyone would find this hard to believe. A lot of people have an irrational hatred for Microsoft, a lot people can write software and a lot of people are assholes. Combine all three and here is the result.

Here's a free security tip for those of you who feel the need to use third-party security software (let alone software from multiple vendors): stop browsing the web and reading email with administrative privileges.

@PPF,
Your trust was misplaced and I could have told you that without the benefit of hindsight. I'm also curious to know how you diagnosed the attack vector without the (inconclusive) information available to us now.

@Lord_Destros,
For the very same reason we call small yellow notes with an adhesive strip Post-it Notes. Ubuntu is the most prevalent desktop GNU/Linux distribution and to assume any other without corroboratory information would be illogical.
