With Colouring CS 1.6 you can write with 4 different colors in the chat area of Counter Strike 1.6:
F9 green chat message
F10 green team message
F11 team-color (CT/SPEC/T) chat message
F12 team-color (CT/SPEC/T) team message

When you are alive, colors will only appear if chatting with say_team F10 / F12.

I know there has been a recent trojan infection attempt with a similar software, I arrived here from google looking for that user, so I thought it would be nice to post my software here, I guarantee this is not a malware/adware/whatever, you can check my official info page http://www.shockingsoft.com/ColouringCS16.html (~1000 downloads, no complains)

Some AV's may detect suspicious activity, this is because of how I created this software.
It has a .exe file, acting as a DLL injector, and a DLL loaded in memory that will be injected in hl.exe.
The DLL was written in Delphi 7 and ASM, I have tested it in Counter Strike only, not sure if it works on other mods, works with Steam too, but not on all servers, I think it doesn't work on those without metamod.

It has no public sources/documentations involved, I did some reverse engineering @ hl.exe and found several informations that helped me to create this.



DO NOT USE THIS WITH VAC/VAC2 SERVERS ! As I have said before, it injects a DLL in hl.exe, VAC detects this as cheat/half life engine modification.

I wouldn't trust this file without the source being released. It could be a false positive, but the stuff being picked up by virus scanners are typically things involved with trojans or backdoors.

Isn't this kind of in the wrong forum also? This is SourceMod, so it's not for HL1 mods.

I thought this forum was for server PLUGINS, not dll injectors.

It's forum rules to post a source anyway, and even then I'd never run any .exe's on my system that I don't trust, and I definitely don't trust this. Especially after someone was just caught releasing the exact same thing but with viruses in it.
