for me the update of the update brought nothing,
i'm still having laggs and my servers crashing all the time:

FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Cache_TryAlloc: 2343328 is greater then free hunk

also it seems like that the administrators of the steam forum
don't accept new users, they don't activate any new accounts.

what a great support for this worst update ever

somebody should take some legal actions against them,
microsoft was held for less in the past.

i mean they are responsable for a flood of support tickets
for all game hosters which results in costs for sure,
also the hosting companies are not able to meet the conditions
of there contracts which probably results in losing customers.

and last but not least many gamers are not able to play because
there client crashes or the servers are totally fucked up.

How do you guys get that error-message in the log?

Please give all the commands that you need to be able to get the error-messages everytime the server crashes!

Viewing the server console is the only way to see that error message

my server hoster provides a crash log for things like this,
but i did not checked out how they included it

Thats gonna take more usage of my computer because I always use this one (if the server get crashed, the error-message will not be saved in any files or so on)


Any idea how to get error-messages in the log?

Im really sorry about this off-topic but since its very important for me to check the errors caused by the new UPDATE from VALVE so I really need these informations!

It does say 100%. The precent is how far it is, thru the list.

Thats Completely Wrong, They are going to update the version of the servers again some time, this is just the CS Beta into all Hl1 engines, so this is kindve a beta test. Also that this might stay permanently, but the %'s show that these updates are not complete, their is more to go

Naab update ur server

- HLDSUpdateTool -> http://www.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.exe
-Make a folder in Windows Drive (C:\ usualy)
-Install the update tool in c:\hlds
-Go start->run->cmd
-Type cd c:\hlds
-Type hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game valve -dir .
After it finishes
-Type hldsupdatetool.exe -command update -game cstrike -dir .
After it finishes put your plugins in this new server
Delete old one
Play CS 1.6 Updated
