There was a moving train. It got into a tunnel, and everything went so dark, no one could see anything at all. There was a gun-shot. When the train came out, there was a dead man and a gun next to him. What happened and why?

Jack and Jill are dead on the floor. They have no visible marks on them. (Cuts/bruises etc.) There are NO windows in the room, and the door is locked. (The door also has no window) All that's left in the room is a puddle of water and a few shards of glass... How did they die?
