I'm sure it's possible, but you would have to edit the template and know how to retrieve the user's SteamID. This should get you started for phpBB and this should help you out to make it work in IPB.

I just added it as a bbcode on my phpbb forums for now, works well.

Kost, I'm just checking but all you do is convert the steamid using that algorithm discovered and then parse that page for data right?

basically yes. except i'm not parsing any html.
i'm using pythons xml.dom.minidom to parse the xml i'm getting from valve.
