Can you make a cvar that if u set it to 1 restricted names will be readed from mysql table and if u set it to 0 the names will be readed from .\configs\restrictnames.ini ? Or something like that?

Thanks for your translation.

Why would you want the names to be read in from MySQL? The only rationale I can think of is that you want the same restrictions in place on multiple servers. Is there another reason?

Yep, heres the 1st reason, the 2nd reason is that i want to make in my website a page were you can reserve your nick!

restnames_default_name CVAR was removed in 2005!!!

i have a question, sorry if someone else posted this

what do i have to write in restricnames.ini so the players with the following chars: '!', '@', '#', '$', '<', '^', '&', '*', '(', ')','_', '+', '}', '{', ']','[', '|', '\', '/', '>' get rennamed if they have more than 3 signs. sorry for my bad english

l.e.: any combination of maximum 3 of those signs will be renamed
