hey will kigen make in the future a kac version for cracked servers?
On my old cracked server i installed kac and it worked cause i had a russian crack that generates fake steam id-s from mac address or something else so if someone changes him ip and reconnect the fake steam id is the same.
But now my new hoster doesnt allow me to change the files in the bin folder.
and what about that lan working kac? i mean i rad in earlier post that is possible can i set it to ban their ips when they cheating??

I have done what you suggested thetwistedpanda, the problem is, i believe kac updated itself back, and now it's just kicking again.

sometimes you have to test and if you find something which is working on KAC you report it ,i think is right

I second this motion, it's white hat hacking, WHH is a valid method of testing for improvements, it's that or we wait for someone else to find a hole in the defences then wonder how the F**K they did it while they spread the word and hack around KAC

Get a server with just MetaMod, SourceMod and KAC running, be sure to disable VAC so that you don't get VAC banned while testing, now start using a hack on that server, if KAC notices you will be kicked/banned

You can call that a success

If you was banned then unban yourself, disable the hack you just tested and and try another hack, make a list of what hacks KAC DOESN'T notice and send that to Kigan via E-mail or private message, then Kigan can develop a fix for that hack

Once the new version is released then repeat the test for all the hacks against the new version of KAC, again make a list of hacks that KAC doesn't notice and send the new list to Kigan


This creates a loop which leads to KAC busting all the hacks you have tested, this won't happen over night as Kigan is a one man team with stuff to do besides continue work on his brilliant Anti-Cheat plugin


It's not simple, but it's do able
