[ High CPU usage ]

I have xeon 3.392Ghz

And a server with 16 slots is consuming 50% of the 1 core.
Is this normal?

How do I reduce the CPU consumption?

one way is to reduce tickrate, but I think that is only for cs go since others only allow you to use 66 tick rate.

There is a way around that limit but the extension causes servers to crash 2-3 times a day.

Any resource intense plugins?

Counter-Strike 1.6
Basic plugins (AmxModX)
16 slots = 50% of core usage.

Define "I have xeon 3.392Ghz".
How many processors and their exact model.
If your game server is up to date, it should be OK. OK, if you are running the basic add-on, without any other unapproved plugins.
